TL;DR
Nasadol has an easy online ordering experience, is extremely easy to use, and has glowing reviews. While it didn’t really “work” for me per se, YMMV and you may find it works great for you.![](https://fettlist.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/Nasadol_CBD_Spray-removebg-preview.png)

Ordering and Shipping
After reading a lot of pretty promising reviews online, I decided to pull the trigger on a single bottle of regular-strength CBD spray from BioSpectrum’s website for $24.95. Given the reported potency of the product and the fact that each bottle contains 100 sprays, I thought this seemed like a great deal.
This was my first time ordering from BioSpectrum, so I didn’t go in with any expectations around shipping time, ease of ordering, etc. I was pleasantly surprised to have the product arrive at my doorstep only a couple of days after I ordered it. This was a big plus for me since it seems like many CBD products take several days or even a week or more to arrive.
As far as packaging goes, Nasadol’s is pretty straightforward. It’s a small spray bottle that comes in a box, similar to what you’d expect buying other types of OTC nasal sprays.
How to Use Nasadol Nasal Spray Correctly
As I mentioned earlier, Nasadol comes in two different potency options: 1mg CBD per spray and 2mg CBD per spray. You’ll want to dose accordingly with this in mind.
Compared to other CBD products, such as pre-rolls and tinctures, Nasadol’s spray is pretty fast easy to use. If you find yourself on the go or are just someone who appreciates the convenience of a quick dose, nasal spray is pretty tough to beat as a vehicle for CBD. There’s no mixing, holding it under your tongue, smoking, etc.
Here’s a quick rundown on how to use it:
- When you open it for the first time, shake the bottle for a bit.
- Prime the pump a couple of times by spraying into the air. Once you start to see a fine mist, you’re good to go.
- Spray into each nostril. Do not snort it. The CBD spray will get where it needs to go without you needing to snort it. If you do snort, it doesn’t feel great and will give you some post-nasal drip you can do without.
- Sniff in just enough to keep the CBD spray in your nose.
And like that, you’re done. As with all CBD products, you’ll need to experiment to get the dosing right. It’s going to depend on your needs as well as your own personal physiology. In order to avoid any overwhelming or unwanted effects, it’s probably best to start with a single spray in each nostril, especially if you’re new to CBD.

My Own Experience Using Nasadol CBD Nasal Spray
The shipping, packaging, and ease of use for BioSpectrum’s Nasadol product all got high marks. That said, I think we’d all agree that while those things are great, it’s not what we’re paying for. Let’s get into the experience itself.
Smell
The smell was actually pretty pleasant, which is a good thing to be able to say about a product you’re shooting directly into your nose. Overall, the smell is very mild and there’s only a hint of almost a coconut-y scent. After a minute or two, you become nose-blind to it and forget you’ve used a nasal spray altogether.
A very minor inconvenience is that, depending on how much of the spray you use at a time, you may have to deal with some drippage. Again, this lasts for only a minute or two before the spray is fully absorbed.
Subjective effects
Here’s where things got a bit disappointing for me. I’ll start with a reminder that I bought Nasadol having read essentially only good things about it from those who had used it. While it almost seemed too good to be true, they nonetheless got me pretty excited to try it out for myself.
Here are the main themes of what I was seeing:
- Because it’s a nasal spray, it’s able to quickly reach your brain. This is extremely important because the bioavailability of many CBD products is in question.
- Since this stuff is a straight shot to your noggin, you feel the effects hard and fast. Users on Reddit reported feeling it in minutes, if not less.
- With such a high potency, a little goes a long way.
Now, I have no reason to doubt these things are true, at least for some users. My experience, however, was underwhelming at best.
The first time I used Nasadol, I used only a single spray in each nostril in order to try to calibrate the dosage. After feeling nothing, I moved up to two sprays in each nostril, then three, then eventually four. Each time, I felt nothing. Beyond four sprays, there’s enough excess liquid that it becomes pretty inconvenient, not to mention less cost-effective.
At this point, many CBD aficionados will remind me that CBD isn’t psychoactive in the same way THC is and that any noticeable effects will be dramatically more subtle. That said, if I’m going to pay for a product, I’m going to want to feel something, especially if it’s billed as being highly potent. But I noticed no physical or mental relaxation, no noticeable decrease in baseline anxiety, or anything like that.
Is it possible I’m not yet finely attuned to the hyper-subtle effects of CBD? Maybe. Could I have been expecting a bit too much out of this spray? Sure. But again, after having read the reviews learned about the product on the manufacturer’s site, I was expecting to feel at least some kind of effect after using the product.
All that being said, I don’t think that just because it didn’t work for me, it doesn’t work for anyone. We’re all different, and I believe the folks who love this product experience the benefits they say they do.
So with that, let’s take a look at some of the more positive reviews so we can get a fuller picture of the story.
What Other People are Saying
My opinion’s just one of many. And while my experience of using the product left a little to be desired, it seems the general consensus on the internet is that this product is pretty great. Here are some examples of what I found:
“I started using Nasadol about 6 months ago after learning CBD helped with lower back and general muscle stiffness. After 20 yrs of rock/mountain climbing my lower back and knees were starting to rebel. After about a week of regular use I noticed a considerable difference in both stiffness and pain. After a month it was 90% gone and my recovery after hard workouts was noticeably better. The nasal spray is very convenient and you can feel the effects almost immediately. Highly recommended.”

“I have worked outside my whole life in construction. On my 59th birthday, a friend gave me a bottle of CBD capsules from BioSpectrum CBD-mostly as a gag gift. I didn’t give them much thought at first, but two weeks ago I started taking one capsule every night before bed.
The first couple nights I thought I was sleeping better but I wasn’t sure it was because of the CBD Capsules. By the third morning, I got up as usual to let our anxious Golden out to go to the bathroom. When I reached the bottom of the stairs, I realized I had just run down the steps like I did 20 years ago. No groaning, no using the railing and no walking like a stork. Absolutely miraculous!!!
I didn’t really believe all the CBD hype but I just ordered another bottle for me, my wife and my father-in-law. I don’t take Motrin anymore and I’m throwing away my curcumin next. I am absolutely blown away by how these pills make me feel!”

“My wife suffers from social anxiety and panic attacks, and social gatherings can be problematic for her. Previously she had used either Lorazepam or Xanax to get through, but both of those caused drowsiness and irritability, and their effectiveness waned as the day went on. One of her best friends, who also suffers from anxiety, suggested the try CBD oil as an alternative.
I am very anal when it comes to trusting companies, and there are so many fly-by-night companies out there that sell CBD products that I was loath to allow her to try it. imagine my surprise when I discovered Dr. Fred Melius, a well-respected doctor in Wisconsin, had developed his own CBD product called Nasadol. I was amazed at the difference it made for her. Instead of taking a sedative and being drowsy and moody, she is now able to relax and even enjoy the situation. Nasadol works wonders, and for the first time she is able to attend a social event without feeling panicky or wanting to jump out of her skin.
I won’t make a blanket statement and say it will work for everyone, but if you or someone you love suffers from social anxiety, you may want to consider giving Nasadol a try.”

“I’ve used this product and love it! I was afraid that it would burn my nose but it was actually a pleasant, mellow mist that didn’t burn at all! I order it from one company because they have great customer service and free shipping“
